It's a girl!

We had two great doctor's appointments today. First, we went to the OB and had our 20 week appointment. Everything was fine, they checked for protein and sugar in my urine, that was negative. I had only gained four pounds in the last four weeks, right on schedule. This is a miracle, mind you, considering that I just got back from 10 days in Paris and I think the only thing we did there was eat. I guess I walked around enough to burn off any extra calories I consumed. The only bad thing at my appointment was my blood pressure was still a little high, but I'm telling you the doctors stress me out and it only goes up when I go there. I'm just so paranoid they'll tell me something is wrong I get all anxious, plus getting to the appointment on time is always a challenge, and being late stresses me out.

Afterwards I picked up Joel and we went to have a fetal echocardiogram done on strawberry. Everything was normal and there were no heart defects that could be seen. The baby was moving around and waving her arms, and she even spread her legs for us to get a glimps of...girl parts! Yep, that's right, we saw the goods and it's a girl! I'm just tickled pink, no pun intended.

Tomorrow we have our fetal anatomy appointment and I'll post as soon as we get back.
