Wow. Some days it seems like Kate jumps ahead by a month, just growing by intellectual leaps and bounds in mere hours. Today was one of those days. We had our big initial anatomy scan today, and got really great news! Not only does the baby appear to be healthy and growing normally, but we also received good news on our First Trimester Screening!
I had to quickly share Kate's most recent word acquisition. We were walking home from Target, which is at least a thirty minute walk, and she was complaining because she was bored and wanted out of the stroller. I told her, "I know, I know." She kept chatting, and a few blocks later I realized she was singing "I know, I know" like a chorus. It sounded so comical that I started singing it back to her, and we both sang "I know" for about 10 blocks until we got home. She is such a character already!
