Saturday afternoon Isabel's first tooth made its presence known! It finally poked through, sharp as a razor! She is also determined to crawl and has the leg motions down. Unfortunately, she still hasn't coordinated her arms, so she falls on her face a lot. She tries downward dog, too, and she seems to want to just stand up and start walking. When she finally does get moving, it's backwards, so it has been a frustrating experience for her. Kate tells me, "Isabel is getting frust-er-ated," using her big girl words.
One of our favorite North Slope boutiques, Boing Boing, is opening a new store in the South Slope close to us! How excited are we?
I find it so interesting when Kate makes a cognitive leap, and this one I felt was huge. We were walking through Prospect Park, after having our lunch in the meadow. We decided to go to the 3rd St. Playground, a playground Kate had never visited. Kate was bouncing along in the stroller, no peeps at all, when we started down the hill that leads to the playground. She started giggling and squealing as soon as she saw the playground.
Finally Loews and AMC have their act together and are posting Reel Moms listings again. It's about time! Don't forget to get a moviewatcher card if you're going to Reel Moms every week!
We've tried to go to "real" movies with Kate, but I end up spending half the time in the lobby because Kate gets bored and fussy. I am still really enjoying the Reel Moms experience and I'm glad AMC has decided to continue it!
