More on Yesterday’s Ultrasound

One thing I forgot to add in my previous post is that the technician said, "This might be a boy." She added that both sexes had protrusions at this stage, so she couldn't tell for sure and didn't want to confirm a sex, but she did initially have the "boy" reaction. I guess we'll find out more in three weeks when I have my anatomy scan.
My due date has been changed as well. It is now August 22nd, given that the baby has consistently measured a week ahead.
Aren't these pictures amazing? Because the skull plates haven't fused, the technician assured us, sometimes the ultrasound doesn't pick up the bone and you can peer into the brain. Notice the two halves? Yay! What you see in the baby's lap is the umbilical cord, in both pictures.
